The candy bar named U-No begins with the letter “U.” The Cardinet Candy Company began producing this candy in the 1920s. In 1978, the Cardinet Candy Company was purchased by the Annabelle Candy Company.

It is still unknown where the name of the U-No candy bar came from. The well-known chocolate candy bar had a milk chocolate shell and a chocolate truffle interior with crushed almonds. Old-fashioned candy bars like the U-No are uncommon at supermarket and convenience stores, but they are regularly found in specialised shops that sell old-fashioned candy bars.
