The Tahoe is similar in size and appearance to another General Motors car, the Cadillac Escalade. According to U.S. News and World Report, the Tahoe got the top spot for the Affordable Large SUV category in 2014. The 2-door and 4-door Tahoe variants were initially offered, however the 2-door type was dropped in 1999.
